Need for Speed: Heat, is the name of the game. Quite literally. The game is due to be released by EA on November 8, 2019.

Fans of the Need for Speed series have waited for this game. Now they know that they can have early access on November 5, 2019 – if they are members of EA Access or Origin Access.

Today EA released the very first gameplay video for Need for Speed: Heat. You can watch it here. Meanwhile, EA has also released the Need for Speed Studio app. It is designed to allow players to customise cars pre-release. Available instantly on iOS and Android.

EA is calling this the “Ultimate street racer versus cop fantasy”, obviously drawing on the movie nostalgia, relating to “heat”. NFS: Heat promises to give its players expressive customization, immersive narrative and authentic urban car culture. The scenery will be a fictional city called Palm City. Players will also be glad to learn that it will be an open world game.

EA has put words to the game as well:

“By day, players compete in the Speedhunters Showdown, a sanctioned competition where they earn Bank to customize and upgrade their garage of high-performance cars.”

“At night, players risk it all to build their Rep in underground races where a rogue police task force roams the streets, ready to take racers down and swipe all their earnings.”

“The roads, the risks and the rides never end in this street racer where a player can roll doop with their crew, build their garage full of hot cars, and make the city their nonstop playground.”
