It’s a great month to be a gamer. Not only is Doom Eternal coming out in just two weeks, but we’ve partnered with ESO to give away another great Alienware gaming rig! This time we’ve got an Intel-powered machine with some pretty great specs:
- Intel i9-9900K Hexacore Processor
- Asetek Closed Loop Liquid-Cooling System (for MAXIMUM water cooling!)
- 32GB of Kingston HyperX RAM
- 1TB NVMe SSD plus at 1TB HDD
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super
- An Alienware AW3420DW 34″ Curved G-Sync 120Hz Display!
There are a ton of ways to enter, so make sure you do them all for the best chances to win. It’s a crazy good machine…we’ve got one in-house that we’ll be covering shortly, but here’s the inside scoop so far.
Let’s unpack those specs for a minute. The i9-9900K is an 8-core 16-thread chip with a base clock speed of 3.6GHz, which Alienware overclocks to 4.7GHz. PCGamer considers the 9900K the best CPUs you can get today, especially for gaming thanks to the high clock speed. Pair that with the Asetek AIO Liquid Cooler and you have a pair made in heaven: high performance, excellent cooling, built-in overclocking, and less noise.
That’s followed by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super, one of the top performance GPUs on the market. This graphics card has more raw power than nearly any other on the market today, only bested by the RTX 2080 Ti. The Ti is nearly double the price, so for maximum performance the Super is the best bang for your buck. With 8GB of DDR6 VRAM and a base clock speed of 1650MHz, you’ll be ready to game in 4K without breaking a sweat.
Which is great, because the bonus to this sweet contest is good enough for a contest all on it’s own: the Alienware AW3420DW 34″ Curved G-Sync 120Hz Gaming Monitor! This display is huge. It boasts a 3440×1440 display resolution, the obvious 120Hz refresh rate, a 2ms (grey-to-grey) response time, and all of the ports you could dream of.
The contest is only open to US and Canadian residents. It’s only open for 21 days, so make sure you get your entries in!
